Stem Cell Reports
Stem Cell Reports is an open access forum communicating basic discoveries in stem cell research, in addition to translational and clinical studies. Stem Cell Reports focuses on manuscripts that report original research with conceptual or practical advances that are of broad interest to stem cell biologists and clinicians. Stem Cell Reports participates in Community Review, allowing authors to simultaneously submit their papers for consideration by multiple journals at once.

Reduced Publishing Fees for ISSCR Members
ISSCR members receive 13% off publishing fees to Stem Cell Reports. Plus, the ISSCR is pleased to offer first-time members a 50% reduction in author publishing costs when publishing in Stem Cell Reports. To take advantage of this opportunity during your first year of membership, follow the membership prompts during the submission process, and select “Yes” when responding to the question “Is the corresponding author a first-time member?” Please note that the corresponding author must be an active member at the time of publication. If acceptance of the paper extends beyond the initial first-time membership term, the special pricing will be honored, assuming the membership is renewed at or before acceptance of the manuscript.
About Stem Cell Reports
ISSCR’s open access journal, Stem Cell Reports, is a forum communicating basic discoveries in stem cell research, in addition to translational and clinical studies. Stem Cell Reports focuses on manuscripts that report original research with conceptual or practical advances that are of broad interest to stem cell biologists and clinicians.
Given the rapidly increasing impact of stem cell research to regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, Stem Cell Reports encourages the submission of manuscripts whose scope bridges these fields of research. The journal also encourages the submission of reports of robust new methodologies with biological significance and/or the potential to advance the application of basic research from the laboratory to the clinic. Stem Cell Reports is a peer-reviewed journal and promotes transparency in stem cell research and related fields of research through the publication of confirmatory findings, negative results, and adverse events. Stem Cell Reports participates in Community Review, allowing authors to simultaneously submit their papers for consideration by multiple journals at once.
