Best Practices for the Development of PSC-Based Therapies: An Updated Draft
An ISSCR Digital Webinar.
Program Description: The ISSCR is developing a resource titled "Best Practices for the Translation of PSC-Based Therapies." The document, which has been developed over 18 months by a task force of over 50 international subject matter experts is a process-based (visual) guide with a global interpretation to the regulatory landscape and links to critical processes and regulatory information. Designed for academics and industry professionals, it is organized into seven sections – starting materials; banking; raw/ancillary materials, devices, and equipment; regulatory considerations; drug substance / drug product; preclinical development; and clinical research. The document presents concepts and principles that can be applied globally and thus is intended to serve as an international road map in the development of PSC-based therapies.
