Being part of ISSCR has been fundamental in making me feel part of the global stem cell community. I enjoy receiving ISSCR news updates, participating to ISSCR annual meetings, international symposia, and webinars, and being connected with other stem cell scientists.

The most rewarding aspect of my work is witnessing the blossoming of the next generation of scientists. It's incredibly gratifying to see them think independently, fearlessly take on challenging projects, and embrace the possibility of failure, knowing that I'm here to offer unwavering support on this shared journey.

Curiosity and creativity are the most important qualities one can have as a scientist. A lot of people are smart, but it's that motivation from deep within that I think makes a researcher most successful.

The most rewarding aspect of our work is the opportunity to contribute to stem cell research in Brazil and to make it more internationally recognized.

I am excited to make an impact on translating the knowledge discovered from my computational models for stem cell-based therapies and regenerative medicine.
