2025 Election Nominations
Nominations are open through 11:59 p.m. EDT (USA) on 30 September 2024.
The ISSCR Nominating and Awards Committee will evaluate nominations for Vice President, Clerk, Treasurer, and two Directors for the 2025 election. This year, the committee seeks expertise in the following: computational biology, systems engineering, Car-T therapy, and clinical experience including transplant surgery.
Open Positions
Board of Directors
There are two open board seats for the 2025 election. This year, the committee seeks expertise in the following: computational biology, systems engineering, Car-T therapy, and clinical experience including transplant surgery. Interested individual are encouraged to self-nominate.
Vice President
The Vice President serves four years on the executive committee, first as Vice President, then Incoming President, President, and Past President.
Clerk
Oversees the Society’s committees, including structure, mission, and membership, with the goal of achieving equity, diversity, and inclusion across all Society functions. The Clerk serves as Chair of the Strategic Oversight Committee.
Treasurer
Oversees ISSCR finances to ensure fiscal responsibility and assess risk. The Treasurer is chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee.
Nomination and Election Process
Self-nominations are encouraged. Please note, if you nominate a colleague, the ISSCR will contact them to complete a short nominations application confirming interest and availability.
The Nominating and Awards Committee will review all nominations in October 2024, based on core competencies and areas of expertise, with an objective to ensure diversity within the board. Final candidates will be asked to provide a biography and a statement of interest in the role, which will be included on the election ballot. All current Student, Postdoc, and Full members are invited to vote on candidates in early 2025. Candidates are chosen by majority vote. Election results will be announced in April 2025.
